If Regula follows the trend of the legatus being based on the antagonist of the FF their legion is numbered offer, I imagine he'll go rogue and completely lose it at some point.

If this does happen I think it'll be rooted in the WoL always defeating him, he'll start losing his mind as to how he keeps getting bested by one man/woman and will do anything he can to defeat them.

Ironically one of them chose to stay in Eorzea and is now one of Kann-e-Senna's bodyguards.

Not really kidnapping or brainwashing, just educating them on the dangers beastmen and primals bring on the world.

Wrong the 7th legion brainwashed their soldiers by having them kill their friends and family. And this whole legion was made up of mostly Al mahigan youths. And this wasn't just to fill the ranks it was one of their ways of subjugating the whole nation.

I just think it would be pretty interesting if we could roll Garlean kinda like in SWTOR jedi/ sith, sure as hell would make pvp easier to set up. It would require making and entirely new game (MSQ, side stuff... hell everything) which at this point would be impossible but i always though it would benefit the lore of FFXIV if we could see all sides of the war.

Shouldn't Eorzea easily destroy Garlemond? we have like 10,000 Warriors of Light and the empire only have buckethead goofball soldiers. If the game counts the player as the only WoL, we still have other adventurers who are as powerful as the WoL anyway.

eorzea himself can't defeat the garlean empire, they have the warriors of light yea but the regular army of the 3 city states can't dealt whit the magitech tecnology, actully eorzea have luck when midgarsworm destroy the capital ship.

You can't use 1.0 for examples of what the Garleans have done, because that means it's the same game from 2010 which everyone says it's not.

Stories were retconned like the Azure Dragoon. He was killed in 1.0, but in 3.0 he's alive again. We haven't seen this brainwashing haapen since 1.0 so you have to guess that it was probably retconned as well that they can't do it anymore.

It's canon that there's only 1 WoL at present.
