I hope they just don't kill off Regula and make it a norm to just shortly introduce a legatus then kill them off because the garleans do need some characters besides ex garleans and the emperor.

Also think the whole rebel during a crisis didn't sat well with them besides the fact that rebellions can spread instability to neighboring regions if allowed to go unchecked.

If Regula follows the trend of the legatus being based on the antagonist of the FF their legion is numbered offer, I imagine he'll go rogue and completely lose it at some point.

If this does happen I think it'll be rooted in the WoL always defeating him, he'll start losing his mind as to how he keeps getting bested by one man/woman and will do anything he can to defeat them.

I hope you simply overlooked the parallels of what you just said, given who the Garlean Empire and Doma are drawn from. I'd hate to think you knew what you were implying and thought it was acceptable to do so.
