We should ally with the Garleans

Eorzea and the Garlean Empire both have a common goal: Elimination of the primal threat forever. Only our means differ.

The Eorzean alliance in some misguided view doesn't want kill the source of the problem, the beastmen. The beastmen as a whole are not friendly with the races of man and will never stop trying to kill us or summon primals. I agree with the empire, genocide all the beastman races and we could work together to do that.

It would be killing two birds with one stone. Stop the incessant beastmen attacks and kill off the primals in one go. I see no need to preserve the beastmen when they are a wholly negative influence on Eorzea.

If we ever have an alliance with the Garleans I would be so... happy. I hope we get to go to Garlemald some day in game. The architecture and concept art of the Garlean fortresses are so awesome. Garlean tech and architecture is amazing.

Except the genocide of the beastman races would be incredibly unethical? Like the Mamool Ja, Qiqurn, and Goblins seem to be by in large on friendly terms with Eorzea (Though they can't step foot in Ul'dah). There are pockets of Beastmen who are quite reasonable and fine folks as well, and there's a lot of evidence to suggest if Limsa Lominsa would stop breaking the treaties they had with the Kobolds, they probably wouldn't have a reason to summon Titan. Keep in mind the Garleans kind of want to stamp out religion all together.. In Eorzea.. The place that all huddled around in prayer in hopes that the Twelve would save them from Dalamud. That's not gonna fly with the Garleans.

There's a ton of issues with Eorzea allying with Garlemald, Eorzea should never do it.

You're making it sound like only beastmen summon primals. The player races also have their own gods and also are capable of creating aetherial beings of divine influence. Both Saint Shiva and King Thordan were summoned as primals by man.

Well if we are able to damage their army some more and retake Ala Migho we may be able to force some concessions. At that point the Garleans might be willing to work together and spare certain industrious beastmen like the goblins. However until we do enough damage to them I feel they will only accept unconditional surrender.

You're making it sound like only beastmen summon primals. The player races also have their own gods and also are capable of creating aetherial beings of divine influence. Both Saint Shiva and King Thordan were summoned as primals by man.

Aside from those two however there arent any examples of non beastmen summoning primals. If we can stop the Ascians for good then it would be logical to work out a deal with the Garleans. The beastmen still retain knowledge on how to summon primals but nobody else does aside from the Ascians.
