We should ally with the Garleans

Except the genocide of the beastman races would be incredibly unethical? Like the Mamool Ja, Qiqurn, and Goblins seem to be by in large on friendly terms with Eorzea (Though they can't step foot in Ul'dah). There are pockets of Beastmen who are quite reasonable and fine folks as well, and there's a lot of evidence to suggest if Limsa Lominsa would stop breaking the treaties they had with the Kobolds, they probably wouldn't have a reason to summon Titan. Keep in mind the Garleans kind of want to stamp out religion all together.. In Eorzea.. The place that all huddled around in prayer in hopes that the Twelve would save them from Dalamud. That's not gonna fly with the Garleans.

There's a ton of issues with Eorzea allying with Garlemald, Eorzea should never do it.

Well if we are able to damage their army some more and retake Ala Migho we may be able to force some concessions. At that point the Garleans might be willing to work together and spare certain industrious beastmen like the goblins. However until we do enough damage to them I feel they will only accept unconditional surrender.

I have a feeling this will happen eventually, although not under current leadership. there might be a member of the royal family who shares more peaceful ideals who we help get into power or something. But whether or not they remain an antagonist group or even became some faction we could join I don't think they would ever be killed off from the story completely, maybe changed but not removed. Based on how much they control destroying the empire at once would probably do more harm than good.
