This would be a petition stating the general upset at the lack of representation of what we, as a community, wanted in style choices.

Can you not use "we" when you really mean "I"?

But jesus, they give you an inch and you want a mile instead. Some people won't like every, or even any, of the hairstyles chosen to vote on. You can't please everyone!

I really don't think it's about entitlement. the contest rules and announcement were apparently unclear. there is a smaller selection of styles available than previously declared and frankly looking at the announcement I feel it was intended to be separate contest for each region thus allowing for a more tailored voting selection. Having it all posted as one polling group drawing from the global submissions really steps away from what I feel the announcements intent was.

I'm largely happy with the selections they made, though I will say that too many of the options feel fairly similar in style. Even if they are nice individually, they could have definitely pruned some out to either make space for other options or to focus voting on one choice instead of scattering them between many similar choices.

My only real gripe is with the few styles that are fairly blatantly "inspired" by other sources. Not that the styles aren't nice but that they do clearly violate the rules.

The selection lack variety and how did some of these get to the finals? They straight ripped them from SE. lol I thought that was against the rules.

I like the ones for males. so far =O But It's apparent which ones are going to win =(

I like maybe three of the male ones but... I'm not complaining? I mean, I'm sort of tired seeing everyone say "oh look they favor the JP players" when probably they just got a huge proportion of Japanese entries, since more Japanese players play the game anyway... that doesn't mean they are "favoring" the JP playerbase.


All I'm seriously complaining about is one) we won't get that pompadour style and I really want that and two) there's like maybe two good non-short hair styles for boys. I hate short hair on men and I'd like more ponytails... yes, ponytails... ....cough

Seriously now, based on what criterias you think they should be judging the different artworks ? Is there a single haircut in the world that hasn't been done yet, or that you can't find similarities with another to the point you could argue over its "uniqueness" ? doubtful.
