Xbox 360 Controller Weird Issue!!!

So, i've been using Xbox 360 controller on free trial it's working just fine.

But, when i bought the game weird issue came up, whenever im trying to move my character it will run but somtimes it will just stop running and start walking just like that for a few seconds then after that it will run again, just like that over and over it's pretty annoying.

At first, i thought that was latency issue so i switched it to keyboard mode and try to move with WASD and there's no problem at all my character running like a dog without a single error, but when im using my xbox 360 controller again the issue is back!

Calibration works fine nothing wrong with it, playing other games with also fine there's no issue like this.

I already tried evrything that is available in internet but still nothing, calibration works fine, playing in free trial just fine and using it on other games also works just fine. So, what have gone wrong?

I wonder if the upgrade to the full game screwed up your drivers somehow. Have you tried updating or reinstalling the latest controller drivers & software (if necessary)?

It suggests a conflict somewhere rather than a hardware error.

yea, i already tried that not working still have the same issue.

i play on ps4 and have been experiencing a similar problem.

sometimes when i hold r2, and try to input a command like square or triangle, my character will walk to the left for no reason. it has become quote the problem when i play casters

Hmm, I've been using an Xbox 360 controller for over two years without any incidents. What controller are you using? I've found the wired controllers to be far more reliable for everything, and the Afterglow 360 wired controllers to be the best.

You may also want to try checking your preferences to see which button causes you to swap between running and walking. If it's the button in the analog stick, that could be why.
