I'm soooo happy for entry 4 in male hair.
I submitted something similar (albeit VERY hastily made, about 20 minutes before the deadline) and I'm glad someone submitted one that is way better quality.
I've been itching to have an A-Ruhnesque cut for a very long time.
I want my enemies to be all "How is he hitting me with all that sexy hair in his eyes?!"

It's currently a point of confusion here. It seems that we're permitted to vote for as many styles as we like, but the part you referenced is in relation to entries for the Scarf of Wondrous Wit.

In order to receive a Scarf of Wondrous Wit from the voting participation sweepstakes on a specific character, you will need to set that character as your main character on the forum, and use this character to press the “Like!” button. After the voting period has concluded, we will be sending prizes to characters that were set as main characters as of September 6, 2015 at 11:00 p.m. PDT. Selected winners will receive their prizes via Moogle Delivery and there will be no announcement as to who was selected for the sweepstakes.
* “Likes!” will only be counted for the last entry you vote on.

They seem to be indicating that it's x1 entry per person for the Scarf Sweepstakes to keep people from liking every single entry for 50 chances.

I could be wrong - I'd prefer to have a Dev poke their head in and let us know.

I know that voting only began and that everyone has their own opinion but uhh I can't help but notice that the leading hairstyles for men so far are the most effeminate hairstyles. I'm sure that things will be looking very different by tonight even but I mean other than that I'm right with some of you guys when I say I'm not impressed by the 25 that made the cut.

You aren't the only one. I like some of the female hairstyles, but I didn't like any of the male ones.

Wow... that's the hairstyles that picked for the voting? Honestly most of them are pretty... unoriginal. I mean there's a couple of good ones, but for the most part a lot of them are very bland and I'm wondering what FFXIV was thinking when they ran these images through for the voting, not to insult the original artist or anything. I'm curious to what those Live Letter Hairstyles were that you guys are talking about and would love to see what they look like.

I wish I made an entry to submitted, though most likely wouldn't have won, and would've been based off of my OC:



I would've modify it from the original to stand on it's own. Too be honest I can't find a single hairstyle that I like for my character that's close to the hairstyle I want here like I posted and the only one I like is the one that's Thancred's hairstyle.
Oh well at least the Female ones are better.

Who would have thought that a game from a series known for its male characters with magnificent hairstyles would end up attracting an audience of voters who like male characters with magnificent hairstyles?

More seriously I suspect that people who like plainer hair are probably less inclined to vote in a hairstyle contest in the first place, let alone put the time in to design an entry.
