Welcome to the internet and reality. If a bunch of electronic words hurt your feelings that they affect your day, you in for a real shock when you walk out the door and start dealing with human beings face to face.

That isn't entirely true though, people are way more vicious on the internet due to the anonymity it gives them.

I'm soooo happy for entry 4 in male hair.
I submitted something similar (albeit VERY hastily made, about 20 minutes before the deadline) and I'm glad someone submitted one that is way better quality.
I've been itching to have an A-Ruhnesque cut for a very long time.
I want my enemies to be all "How is he hitting me with all that sexy hair in his eyes?!"

I think it's more due to how impersonal it is. You see plenty of people being vicious on Twitter or Facebook or whatever with their real names on display.

It was disqualified. It makes one question why they didn't do slightly more research into verifying each entry, but at least they're willing to remove things that get brought to their attention.

Of course that also makes one wonder if they'll add a replacement or leave females with only 24 options.

Only six and sixteen for females stand out for me. The rest are just alterations of styles we already have. Entry 21 is in the lead, and it's just a different take on the Lightning cut...

They probably think any new one would be at a huge disadvantage now. Try playing catch up with the front runners now. Im sure a huge chunk, if not the bulk of the votes have gone in.
I would probably change mine to at least one of the ones from the "you didnt get selected" thread though.

Weren't these designs supposed to be original? Female 9? That's from one of YOUR games, guys. Female 20? Misa from Deathnote. Then we have hairstyles that look almost exactly like one another and somehow are considered unique? Seriously. How did some of these get through?

I really wish they didn't show how many likes each one has received.

Eventually people stop voting on hairstyles that are losing because there's little hope to come back and considering there's a potential reward for voting on the winner, it discourages voting for anyone but the front runners.

There's really no way for them to verify every hairstyle, the photoshop jobs and wigs maybe, but otherwise no. I have no idea who that guy is, and it's likely the person/people picking them out didn't either.
