Hairstyle voting begins!

I do wish they contained the hairstyle on the ingame models. As cool/cute as some of these may look, I don't know how well they would transition to our characters.

Agreed, I think some of the ones that are winning are winning because of the art and not the hairstyle itself. Would rather know how these look on the models themselves.

They should have made it obligatory to use the models offered so people could focus more on the hairstyles and not on the art styles, but that's my 2 cents.

Personally, I hope the male #9 wins. I feel like men need more long haired options, and that one looks very nice from all sides. Especially love the little string detail.

I 100% thought #9 was a female picture placed in the wrong category when I saw it.

That one was almost my fave except for the straight bits of hair at the front which didnt 'fit' with the braids and messy back.
I went for number 2 which is the only hairtsyle of the lot that I would wear.

Male#16: the color is very misleading. Besides, it's so close to #15 that I don't know why they picked both.

Hello, Artist of Male Style #15 Here. While I can see why you'd think it'd be similar, I really wish SE would have posted the artists comments along with the title with the entries. #16 has a more puffy crown where as my entry #15 is more flat. There are other miniscule details that make these two styles very different.

As for my artists comment and title it was supposed to be called "The Rogue Trickster" and the comment as followed was detailing how we have very few male hairstyles that evoke that wild/rogue/vagabond/outsider flair, and that I decided to convey those choices into the hairstyle; a hairstyle I depict my main character, Loki, having whenever I play him.

I hope this helps you understand why I went for this hairstyle.

Hi guys. Good luck to everyone in the contest. Some very nice entries!
I would have liked to see some that were shown on the 2nd anniversary livestream event though, as they were great, too.

I will point out this though:
Some on the entries that made it to the finals did not follow the rules of the competition:
e.g.
male design number 20 is obviously from the minion of light in-game, so is not an original design.

Male entry number 2 with a lot of shaved and bold parts is another one.
In my entries, I decided not to do shaved parts or short male hair as it would affect one of the rules (I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one)
as it states: 'Designs with a small amount of hair, such as shaved head and mohawk designs, may not be able to be implemented for certain races'

I absolutely adore entries #2 and #18. @_@ Really sad they're probably not going to win.
