Need Help!! Quick!

Ok so i logged after patch 1.19, i had read all the drama about gear and battle changes etc etc, 2 day's before the patch i got to R19 GLD, i could do leves fine at 1-3 stars above me no problem, now i'm stuck doing leves at 1 star, and almost dying every fight, yes my gear is dated, i dont play this game 24/7 so i dont have a million gil(I have 110k), now my question is this, is it better for me to go and get a set of lets say R16 gear, or do i stick it out with what i got ?

Also is there a camp or something near horizon ? Because i been looking for mobs around my level, and they are to far in between to chain exp.

There's the new low-level dungeon outside of Limsa Lominsa you could try. Keys drop from monsters and you can get low-level gear and exp at the same time. There's a thread about it some where around here. Shposhae.

May I suggest possibly trying a 5 star lv10 leve? Maybe you will get better exp results?

Also have gear as close as you can to your level is almost required now to solo since stats actually matter.

I will try and see how leves R15 goes, hopefully i will get a decent amount of EXP, also all my gear is R16, except my main hand wish is R25, Would it be better if i use my R16 sword instead of the R25 ? even if i do lose 25Dps ?

Use R16,I am sure it is convertible to materia also.by the time you reach 25,it should be convertible,and you can use it on your r25 sword. WIN!! (except you dont like the materia it produces)
