it may not be the hardest 50 extreme
but it is pretty annoying especially doing it in DF
and it drop no pony no mount
but i do agree SE should do something about those outdated raid and trial
like this, the ultima's bane and those 24 raid...etc
I suspect that this instance does not have the longest queue time.
Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 3 probably has a longer queue time.
I was feeling those long queue times the other night when trying to get a clear for a friend so we can start farming ramuh for pony. XD I actually kinda liek the moogle fight, but I will be honest, I would be more inclined to run it, if it dropped a pony also. How I long for a pony with moogle's theme. lol
I really don't know why they never made a Pony for it tbh instead of a horn it could have a pom or something.
Tanks looking for clears to put toward tank titles/mounts should be happy to tank this fight.
That said, Party Finder is the way to go. Put up a "Mog EX Unsynced Clear, please know fight" and you should get enough people to fill it, either those who also need a clear or people hoping for a whisker drop. And of course if it goes really easily you can offer the potential for a whisker farm.
I have tanked this fight three times. The first was an abysmal failure and the group disbanded. The second was a super easy one-shot clear. The second was a messy clear after a few wipes. It really depends on the group and whether they know the unsynced mechanics.
Why would you do something like Mog EX when you could go farm T4 unsynced instead? The fight is annoying and there's no pony. The only reason to really go is to farm whiskers. I know I only do Mog EX when newer people in my FC need clears.
The whisker won't drop if you go in unsynced.
I just think that after Churning Mists even killing a moogle is just too much moogle.
That Kingly Whiskers go for 7-8 times more than the other EX crafting mats says it all.
This is the second time I've seen people complain about the wait time for this fight. The responses are always the same too: "There's no real reward for completing it."
However... correct me if I'm wrong, and I assume I am, but don't you have to clear this fight to unlock Ramuh EX? In which case, wouldn't more people be doing it since Ramuh EX DOES drop a mount and have completion benefits?
That does nothing to get people who have already cleared to run. You don't fill up df queues with first timers. You fill it up with people grinding. This is the second time I've seen people complain about the wait time for this fight.
