So am I wrong in assuming that the gist of this thread is that I should wear all strength accessories on the off chance that the OP shows up in one of my randoms? Reminds me of that Family guy episode with the guy selling volcano insurance in New England.

To clarify. I am not telling people how to play. Just giving tips for new players and people who are concerned with their healers and such. Healers are fully able to heal you fine through dungeons even if your new in full strength gear.

Not every healer is as capable as you are or have a preference for full STR tanks. Please take into consideration of other styles instead of looking at your own.

I am tired of seeing so many tanks stacked with vitality. Vitality does not increase healing done to you at all.

Had a tank this week in Alex 1 normal saying tanks with STR acc are no real tanks.... My friend is full STR and my WAR is a mix and match of STR and 1-2 VIT so yea... was slightly annoyed on that unqualified comment >.<

And as main healer I gotta say its not really a matter of STR or VIT build if a tank is good or not its about skill and I might be VERY derpy on me tanks but I work out good enough

So basically, we're DPS who just happen to have taunts.

Kinda like how it seems healers are just DPS with heals. Obviously Healers nowdays seem to think their dpsing is more important then keeping people alive, because everyone has to have gear so they can survive on their own. The mentality in this game is so shrewd.

I'm sorry, would you like healers to just stand there and do nothing when there is nothing to heal? If your tanking is making a healer constantly babysit you, then the problem is you.

I'm .. like ilvl 157 now. I have no gear and i'm pretty worthless atm compared to my other character. However I still prefer shorter fights then fights that take forever.

Haha, have to admit I hear nothing but horrible experiences from my healers friends when they have to party with full str acc tanks. Often times they say their hp just goes down to fast to give them breathing room or to contribute to aoe/dps themselves since they have to stay in "babysit mode" (especially since these tanks also run around in dps mode as well).

A full vit tank and a full str tank lose hp at the same exact rate when damaged as accessories provide no defense. Cool down usage plays the largest role in the rate of hp loss.

They obviously mean that the tank's HP hits critical levels too quickly, not that the actual rate of incoming damage is faster.
