I was under the impression most tanks should stack all their points into Str since most Tank gear is so high in granting Vit bonuses, not to mention the additional str means they build Enmity more quickly, also makes their solo play more bearable. Don't all tank jobs grant high vit as well, my Dark Knight has all her points in Str but Vit is still the highest stat even naked, (naked 172 vs 190 at lv 43)

In a group, my Lv53 PLD is about 8800HP with STR accessories, 11000HP with VIT accessories. I'm sure I'll be close to borderline 8k HP if I respec'd attributes to be +30 STR instead of the +30 VIT. With 8k HP, one group was skeptical and thought I was new lol...I was under the impression most tanks should stack all their points into Str since most Tank gear is so high in granting Vit bonuses, not to mention the additional str means they build Enmity more quickly, also makes their solo play more bearable. In what dungeons are you going oom in lol how do you even do that? Also a full strength tank won't carry bad dps if that's the issue. If dps are doing good dps the fight won't take long regardless. It's a dungeon if it's going by to slow add some dps if it's still going by to slow look at the dps. While a tank who puts out good dps is lovely it's not gonna turn a 5 minute fight into a 2 minute fight just cause they went full strength. And the fact that your going oom just makes me think your one of those horrid healers who keep a permanent aoe regen going when there's next to no damage going out. And if your a scholar you have even less reason to be going oom.
A full str warrior tanking in deliverance only and avoiding the Defiance button like the plague can quite easily carry bad dps.In what dungeons are you going oom in lol how do you even do that? I want someone to actually carry this out as a scientific experiment, vit vs strength, and post YouTube video to compare the times on those runs. With same dps to control that variable. Who's willing to do the science?

If the dungeon run is going slow, you should probably check with the dps first....

It's not very nice to contribute to the crusade of discriminating against Tanks who are wearing the Accessories that the game tells them to wear.
I wear 2 tank accessorys and 3 strength accessorys.
If SE wants tanks in full vit accessorys they need to do a few of these things.
1. Make vitality either do These things. Increase defense, increase mitigation.
2. Make parry more useful. Its too rng.
3. Put enough str on the gear so we can keep hate better.
4. Buff the frigin dps's dps I mean come on up their damage if you have to lower their defense enough so that it won't kill them on a raid wide aoe at about 85% hp and boost their damage.
