I know I know, it's not XIV related but it is!!!


My gripe is there is no real representation for FFXIV on this app.


1. the 14th solo match is a moogle, not a hero from XIV, and it's not even a XIV moogle!!

2. there is no achievement for collecting FFXIV cards (10 cards)

3. I haven't seen a XIV hero card yet, All I see is the summons from XIV



Can we have some real representation of XIV in the FFPA.

Since there's no other outlets for complaints... 1.) The limit on matches at a time is stupid. Having to pay for extra matches rather than waiting for them to charge up is just bad. This is not a good way to promote brand awareness, and the cost would eventually build up far beyond the price of a retail game.

2.) I'm fine with In-app purchases, but to go along with complaint 1, Why can't I buy booster packs? This would be a much better way to get people to spend money. I've collected TCGs all my life, and opening booster packs is exciting. Just make it more than 1 card per pack, like 5 each. This is fine because the app does encourage you to get at least 10 of some cards.


3.) There are cards you will NEVER get. The Tutorial Cards are only available when you start the game. It was FOOLISHLY assumed people would be able to get these through online play. Never going to happen. People will only play their best cards online. I'll never get that 1 star card I need for my collection if people are only playing the same top level Gold 5-star rank cards I can get through playing NPCs. There needs to be a better way to get the tutorial cards.

4.) Why doesn't the moogle have a card list like the other NPCs? Moogle is the only way to get FFXIV cards, but I have no idea what his rare cards are because there's no check list. Kinda lame.

Sadly, while Triple Triad itself is still a fun game to play, this is a 100% typical grindy, spend-money-to-continue-playing mobile game.

Yoshida already confirmed in the past that tie-ins are in the works. They've just been waiting for the app to release worldwide first.

Triple Triad tie-ins were mentioned specifically, but the rewards section of the Portal App does have a currently blank section suspiciously labeled "item code."
