Suggestion: GUI add Audio Output Source

This is a small feature that is pretty standard in most MMO's today. I would like the ability to change the audio output source of the game client without having to completely exit the application to change audio output source on the fly. Sometimes I want to use my speakers for audio but other times I want to use headphones and I shouldn't have to exit all the way out of application to change audio output.

I hope you can add this small quality of life change to the system configuration menu.

    This. So much.

Really, is annoying for those of us who need to change between speakers and headphones.

Someone said before it was because dx9 couldn't handle it and anything higher would swap between your default like most other programs since 2012. Hm. But hey I'm not an expert on these things. It's annoying me too.

Someone lied to you or had no idea what they were talking about. WoW did absolutely fine following a change in default audio output while I was on WinXP which only goes up to DirectX 9.

...Or they could just allow the game to always output to whatever the current default output device is, like other games/programs. FFXIV has been the only program I use that effectively locks on to a given audio device and refuses to change. Which...is kinda annoying, I guess. I used to switch between a wireless headset and more comfortable headphones when the battery would have to charge/I didn't need the mic. But to do so would require restarting the program, which was a pain.

A stop-gap (unless you need 5.1 audio or something) is to just get a virtual input/out device program and use that to map to different devices. Voicemeeter does a pretty good job (can't make it past 2.0 audio for me though).
