I've used LB3 as white Mage so I can OT certain mobs with Holy/Assize bombs. Totally unnecessary but i felt like Hulk Hogan body slammin Andre the Giant.
Or option #3: The healer hasn't worked out their comfort level yet.
I stance dance, but only when I am comfortable with a dungeon. If I don't know the mechanics well enough, I would hate to lose a tank due to some kind of burst damage that I didn't know was coming. Mainly because I can't count how many times I've accidentally double-clicked that stupid stance and am forced to gimp heal for 10 seconds lol
I love it when everything goes wrong. And I don't mean people just dying to an AoE. I mean day 1 Ozma wipes. In those occasions I also leave my co healer dead because this feeling that I get after getting the party through all this shit successfully solo, is just so orgasmic.
OMG yes!I love it when everything goes wrong. And I don't mean people just dying to an AoE. I mean day 1 Ozma wipes. In those occasions I also leave my co healer dead because this feeling that I get after getting the party through all this shit successfully solo, is just so orgasmic.
Nothing beats a good carry![]()
Only reason I love doing nidhogg normal still XD
Sometimes I help dps but without CS..... Iam still helping![]()
I rather heal DF parties as well. I get trolled so hard sometimes that I let my friends/FC people die on purpose.
I ran Castrum as SCH with a WHM co healer who not even used protect, Stoneskin II, or popped the things. She didn't even bother healing and was in CS the entire time and died. We all left her copse to rot after the first boss.
Ran Aery as AST last night with my boyfriend (he was leveling his bard at the time). I let him die because he was talking in FC and didn't move out of the menacing orange circle. In the same run when we were near Nidhogg, we wiped because I wasn't paying attention. Tank died. Then both DPS dropped like it was hot and all I said was 'sorry lag'. Tank and DPS said it was okay. My boyfriend on the other hand... Was staring at me like "are you for real?"
Confessions huh...
When the tank runs out without getting protect i have the urge to not cast it for them another time. =_= I end up casting it tho...
FFXIV Since Sep. 2010: Selbina/Ridill/Excalibur (Mergers)
Currently moved to Leviathan
I remember the Alpha days when even breathing lagged you
Same here. I don't cast Stoneskin 2 though (I often cast Swiftcast + Stoneskin 2 between pulls, so he won't see that too)
This happened to me a few night ago. I get Hullbreaker from expert roulette with 3 pug friends. They run off and had started the first trash pull before my PS3 had loaded me into the instance. I run in a cast protect but I don't target anyone and I only get me and a caster dps. The pack dies and the tanks runs off out of range while I'm trying to protect him. Tank does it again. I don't heal the next pull and let him die. When he starts over, he lets me know exactly how he felt about it for about 20 minutes with his friends. I end up getting kicked.
You have those 4 man DF runs sometimes where it's obvious youre with a group of friends. Most of the time it makes for an awesome time. I get bored and troll people sometimes so I try to play along a little when I'm being trolled.
I glad I let this douchebag die...
Had a tank who was tanking for the first time in Halatali.
He moved too close to the 2nd group of mobs and pulled the bombs along with the 3 mobs. He made no effort to pull the mobs off other players, so I was healing 3 people and the tank died.
He says "Heal pls". (You couldn't at least spell "please"? It's 2 more letters...)
So, I did just that. Every time the tank went below 90% health I healed him. Didn't try to take care of the adds in the first and last boss. One of the DPS also made no effort to take care of them either.
So instead of healing / DPSing 50/50 like I usually would in such a dungeon, I Healed 95% and DPS 5%.
It makes me really mad when a tank says "heal please" even though he is the one who accidentally pulled to many mobs and then didn't bother to grab aggro.
It was the first time I was ever told "heal pls" in my life. So yeah, hopefully first and last time.
