One day when you find the will to level BLM and unlock it you'll realise how life changing swiftcast is XD. E4E though I dunno I kinda use it whenever it's off CD but it never seems to be doing all that much. But now WHM doesn't have their better stoneskin it's probably needed along with virus more.
I only recently unlocked Swiftcast! And I'm close to lvl 50, but I'm not sure if I unlocked An Eye For An Eye though, so woops.
I admit having huge murder impulse because my static tank (the PAL/WAR) refuse to equip his 210 Vit accessories and prefer his ilevel 150 old vit accessories meld with str
God forgive me but I will kill him happily by healing him with INT accessories !!!
The tank do shit, i'm gonna show him whose the worst...
And if he cry i'm gonna tell him that INT enhance my DPS... Which is true if you do not use the Cleric stance (in the opposite enhanced healing in CS)
I'm the worst and I'm happy
It's funny because despite the VIT/STR change for tanks penta melded 150s are still better than full VIT or full STR 210s in terms of raw AP.I admit having huge murder impulse because my static tank (the PAL/WAR) refuse to equip his 210 Vit accessories and prefer his ilevel 150 old vit accessories meld with str

Is it really a huge difference ?
Because the more life he have... The higher my own DPS window is...
I don't want to heal à tank that go from 100% to 20% of HP each hit
His 150 VIT accessories should still give him a fair amount of HP where it shouldn't be an issue to handle current non-Savage content with. The difference is fairly small now but it is for optimization.
Don't forget that the more HP a target has, the more time you need to "heal him up too" if you're trying to top him off and thus less Cleric Stance time. If you're gonna just give him enough HP to survive, it doesn't matter how much his max HP is if you're neer gonna heal him to that amount =p
It's actually an interesting dynamic this patch did with Tank VIT/STR, since we can now afford higher Cleric Stance time in a single sitting but will require more healing overall to "top off tanks" so I think it balances out if you play like that.
I never top a tank ! (No pun attended)
Ok except huge tank-killer attack of doom...
Keeping à tank 100% is the work of LAZY healer who do not DPS
It's 100% teue that bigger HP = more work for me... But i think it's easier to burst heal one time than struggle to CS not CS to cast some heal...
Hopefuly
I150 even melded don't stand a chance against i220 and more

xD I hear ya. To me it's a healing style change more than anything else and chances are the increased HP isn't affording you that much extra CS time =pI never top a tank ! (No pun attendre)

But yeah, ask the question again once they start getting 220+ gear![]()
Even post tank change, Full-optimal overmeld i150 STR/VIT right side actually comes out slightly better damage over full 210 VIT. It's not much though, and it's already overshadowed by i220 VIT or crafted.
