When i leveled BLM in Aery i often kept standing in AoE that i know not gonna kill me or add debuff though, my DPS is more important than yours

My own story: When the EU Datacenter had just moved to EU, I went into Fractal and the skills were soooo smooth it felt so nice dps-ing in cleric stance i didn't realize my tank HP is nearly zero. I tried to Benedict him but failed (had just recently rearranged my UI + keybind also), we wiped at the first trash pull . Then I said sorry and the tank went on with "No worry, I rather you let my die trying to learn than stand there doing nothing... blah blah". In my head I was like "NOOOO I wasn't learning to DPS, I was just having too much fun and got carried away!" but i didn't say anything.

I guess he realized it later since i kept dps-ing and not letting him die again the rest of the fight . #nice-df-guy

General rule of thumb if dps sits there eating aoe I willl not turn off cleric stance and instead I will throw a regen on them that ticks for 88 hp. They start to move magically.

That is brilliant. Also makes me wonder if the DPS is thinking:
"Uh-oh, this Healer isn't on the ball with cleric stance. I better not chance it."

Being a healer is all about playing mind games with the party.

Time to put the rod down. For it is rare that I go a run and someone doesn't die. Either I am too slow, or locked behind cleric stance, or just lose control of the flow when lots of damage comes in. Or the whole thing goes smooth until the last boss. No one complains, people say why they died and blame themselves, but I always know better.

Me being in a dungeon with my boyfriend tanking. Me telling him to hang on a moment so I can buff. He pulls. I let him die. > I do this with every trigger happy tank.

There was this one time in Hullbreaker Island and I just wasn't paying attention at the start. The tank ran off and did his pulls and the Monk and Archer were DPSing and I was like, "I like that tree. That's a pretty tree. How come the healer hasn't used Protect....OH CRAP." We wiped and the tank said something about smaller pulls and the Monk appologized for not DPSing enough. The archer was staring at me and I was making the :I in real life. The rest of the run went smooth and I got two Coms somehow.

And that's not even the first or last time I zoned out at the start.

One run in Brayflox's Longstop, I had a BRD who refused to attack what the PLD was attacking, and pulling aggro all the time. I was getting tired of this, and started marking the enemies. This BRD still refused to attack the correct target, so I stopped healing them... sadly, Selene wouldn't, and so the BRD remained doing it. Eventually, mid-fight, I ordered Selene away, and just let the BRD die, then deliberately slow-cast Resurrection on them (once the fight was over). They seemed to get the message after that, the rest of the run went without incident.

Today I finally started getting comfortable with the horrible class that SCH is and it stopped feeling all that horrible. Maybe I just finally had tanks who weren't as tank-y as a piece of wet paper. ANYWAY, I finally got down to mainly dpsing and letting Selene handle the healing. With the first party, that went really well, but with the second one, there was one pull where I saw the tank's HP drop way too rapidly. But dpsing felt way too good and I was positive we could kill the monsters without wiping even if the tank died, so I was like "Good luck, maybe Selene will keep you alive, if not, too bad."
Obviously, the tank ended up dying but as predicted everything went smooth anyway. I apologized how I didn't get out of CS fast enough (even though I never made any effort to actually do that in the first place)...and then the tank apologized saying he wasn't using enough cooldowns. No one was mad at me and one DPS even said how he usually plays healer and how hard that can be, to switch out on time if the tank gets hit without any dmg mitigation.

Suddenly I felt really bad about what I had done xD

If you want to go as SCH in DPS and all
It's better to call EoS, she can handle solo healing most of dungeon is her spell are timed correctly and rouse from time to time

When I was running expert i could complète it without dropping CS because was string enoug to handle it
Except if the tank is very bad or full str

But now expert is useless... All praise the diadem <3

It remains me that one time I order EoS to go at one place for à boss and forgot her in the boss room... She disappear and we went to the next pack without her...
And I didn't drop CS...
Poor tank... He litteraly went to 100 HP before I saved him with a lustrates realising my mistake and calling back EoS XD

Typical, easy dungeon: open with Regen and Asylum and go for Holy Spam. See tank health dropping fast as soon as stun coverage is almost done. "Ehh, he'll pop a CD now that he knows they're not stunlocked." Do one extra Holy after stun-DR. Bene late. Tank's dead. "Guess he swapped jobs too recently for CDs?"

Guilty as well, the last time this happened was in The Aery, but it definitely wasn't the tank using a lack of cooldowns, the drk wanted to experiment with bigger pulls. Just pulled a little bit too much, we both derped there

Not a big one but sensing a wipe coming in ravana HM in trials roulette, one the other healer and 3 DPS were dead i de-spawned Eos and stood in the middle of the arena /laughing until everybody was dead.

I'm taking a small opportunity to lot on the loot from the previous boss and get some mana back, Tank and dps run ahead pulling a boss, first I know of this is the "15 seconds message" I have to sprint to get to the fight, well whoops just a fraction too late, good luck without your healer guys.

I'm posting in this thread way too much, I'm such a vengeful bi**h healer and I love it.
