for this Thread I want to appologize for every death that was caused by the ASTs underpowered being before 3.07!
I always gave my best but sometimes...the best is not enough!!!!

Everytime there is someone dying cause of my own fault, then I suddenly appologize!!! There are some weak moments....oh yes....there are! But I never felt so bad when I knew that it was a fault of mine! Because I realized it and then I've got the opportunity to improve myself!!! But when I knew that I could have made it better, unless my class would lack.....then it's really hard!

Ran EX roul with two FC mates (one being tank, other being DPS), last night. I told our tank, before queuing, "I'll heal if you give me a challenge to heal."
His reply, being he wasn't as confident on his newly 60'd WAR (mains PLD), was that he'll take his WAR and do big pulls and try his hardest to be a pain in the ass.
When we came out of the roulette, I sat him down at the FC house bar and said,
"THAT WASN'T A CHALLENGE. >=(" *Stamps 'FAIL'* (too good a tank to be bad...?)

The point - I confess.... I was madly hoping for near death experiences that would force me into healing without space to DPS, with a full lvl 60 toolkit lol.... (.....bored of doing the same content, already... can't wait till the new raid).
Maybe I should DF back into WoD just so I can experience the old trauma of healing terribads...

I actually do this. Sycrus Tower is easy enough now that you can get by without trouble, but some WoD runs are ugly; I like that, it can be very challenging.

Went into T9 with 5 FC mates, earlier, solo healing. At the golems phase, I'm running around healing whomever needed, etc and I notice a meteor still sitting on the ground.
Me, on Mumble: "There's another one still - over here" *Starts jumping around towards the boulder to gain the attention of and lead the nearest person with a golem to it.... jumps one too many times and comes 1/3 of a millimeter to the wall of death, regardless the attempts to change direction in mid-jump* "O_O SHhhhhiiiii-.............Oh gad I almost jumped into the wall... >.>;"
Everyone else: Wat.

Needless to say, I continued that behavior anyway, and will probably continue to do that.

It's all fun and games till a group's only healer breaks itself on a flaming death wall of insta-kill.

For a while when I first started healing, I used to get impatient with other players very easily (especially DPS and squishy tanks), and got frustrated when they constantly needed babysitting through standing in AoEs, taking on avoidable status effects, having underlevelled gear, etc., to the point it was starting to affect my enjoyment of the role and I kept getting frustrated. I realised the problem was with me, and that it was my job (within reason) to put up with and heal players out of their mistakes or accidents.

So I started looking at parties as if they were children. Really big, sometimes very stupid children who walk into bombs and fire who need me to look out for them and help them when necessary.

Sounds kind of silly, but it helps stop me from ripping the head off the would-be tank DRG who walks into every attack the dungeon can throw out if I imagine him as a particularly clueless toddler.

Back when CT runs where the weekly jam and tuesdays was filled with fast runs and high geared people, myself and a friend would make it our mission to cause as much havoc and death as possible; typically as WHM/SCH.

separate and kill the adds at zombie dreg? nah son eos gun tank 5 of them on one platform and wipe half the raid while we power thru with cure3 and stuff

I still don't have Dissipation because of what an awful ability is. No one's ever noticed.

If a DPS pulls the mob I will refuse to heal them as its not their job to pull. Will also refuse to raise people who are constantly dying to simple mechanics or not following what is being said. As for commends, I also refuse to commend a silent tank when everyone else says hello. May be a stupid reason to some but I am social and kind for the most part, if I can't even get a hello from you (unless the DPS are just awful) you can kiss my commend goodbye xD

Once while leveling SCH, I received tam-tara NM on roulette. After a few mins into the run, I just wasn't feeling it. I had eos summoned, put the tank on follow, eos to auto, and went afk for a large chunk.
