Colored gear with specific classes.

Wearing a different colored gear is not equal to having a stone in your shoe. Something that affects gameplay, like the PL issue, is a stone in the shoe and should be fixed before 1.20. Different colored gear is asthetic only, just buy the best version until next patch.

I'm not saying it's fine the way it is. But it's not affecting gameplay as bigger things.

The PL thing does not effect me in the slightest. I can PL someone, not PL someone, or get PL'd or not get PL'd, it's my choice as of now. I can't make someone the gear in the color they'd like, or I can't make gear for myself in the color I'd like that directly affects me more. I don't care what other people do, I care about what I can do.

Nope it wasn't my posts but this thread was linked in the JP thread so the thread as a whole did contribute to getting a response from Yoshi. The forums are for discussion and feedback. People have the right to voice their concerns when a patch is released and aspects of it dissatisfy the player-base.

And, all questions about what the rep's actually do and do not do aside, if all is as it ought be, Bayohne saw this thread and took our concerns to the developers as well. At the very least, someone would have said 'The English-speaking players are also throwing a fit' when the Japanese thread was discussed.

Which is significantly better than someone saying 'Well at least the English-speaking players are shallow enough to not care about it' instead.

ITT: People want cosmetic options over gameplay balance first.

Everyone's entitled to there opinion, but it's mine that unbalanced gameplay elements should be fixed before cosmetic fluff is added.

It's certainly nice that you can shut yourself out from the society you are a part of and disregard it completely. However, the rest of us don't live in a bubble. The way leveling (or any other part of the game) is seen in the eyes of the society reflects on our views about it as well. This is only natural.
