Colored gear with specific classes.

Yeah this is a bit disappointing. I was also under the impression the dyes could be used (as the description states) on anything. So that I could dye a blue Felt robe. Or a black one. :\ I'm really sad the colors are so limited as well.

I mean... I really don't like the Brown colored Felt Bliaud. That i have to wear in order to get the best stats. If this system is still a work in progress and all the colors will be released eventually then thats alright. Just curious if this is going to be the trend of 1-2 color options per generic level or armor.

Yeah, that too man. D: That too. I'd liken it to: what if the materia didn't say where it could be attached? In theory all purpose sounds nice but to tell the truth the old dying system was no more/less of a hassle than it is now. The only thing that's changed is how you dye the equipment, in that sense.
I know you mine/fish/gather it now and that's changed but...Ah well.

It would have been better if they reduced the various hues and made it all one colour like, for example instead of there having been 2 shades of blue (light and woad) just reduce it to plain old "Blue cloth dye".
