A relief. It makes me think that people in general should stop bitching right now so nothing else goes down the tubes. The initial argument was something along the lines of "Why aren't the different shades offered to all cloth types? Why are these suits of armour required to be either green or nothing? etc etc"

I don't know how that became "Well if you want every colour, we'll restrict who can wear what, and what stats it gives!"

Because as much as people can argue about what can come in the future it doesn't really help that nothing new was added, nothing that was added is helping anyone, and all new armour types seem to come only 2 colour combinations? I think? Is it the cobalt armour that everyone needs as red as it is far superior to the undyed versions?

What the hell is up with that? >_> All my ls could discuss the past two days is cobalt ore and red dye. To make the same unchanging set of gear. In red. Just because it's better, which shouldn't be the case. Even if you argue vanilla gear exists to soothe the souls of RPers or vanity clothiers, what the actual hell? I don't think it has so much to do with the piece of armour as it does the actual colour.

besides, there were different indications of what rank a piece of armour was. For example half robes in cotton didn't have the medallion that canvas robes did. Along with shades of colour it was easy to identify. Perhaps we were asking for too much? I would have accepted a wider range of untouched dyes to add to pre-existing and future armour sets.

Not a pile of wrongfully named all-purpose dyes that also change stats, leaving undyed pieces second rate.
