Wrong Gather Leve Quest ITem for Botanist?

I believe one of the level 58 leve quests for botanist is incorrect in what it has you gather. It's called "A Taste of Their Own Medicine" and talks about how the Gnath use smelly plants to keep dragons away. But what you end up gathering are switches to be used on naughty troublemakers. Seems an odd thing to be gathering as switches don't smell.

The miasmas are made from burning stuff...as the description states, you are gathering samples?

Right, that's what it says, but the item you end up gathering is a duplicate of a previous botany quest around level 40-something. Burning a switch sounds equally as strange.

Think you may be reading too much into the descriptions of the items. That level 40 one states that the branches that can't be used for arrows are shipped off to the orphanages for disciplining the kids...but the primary objective is finding branches suitable for making arrows.

On the level 58 one, only the supple switch states it is suitable for whipping naughty troublemakers after noting it has an impeccable balance of thickness and flexibility---the straight switch states it is too hard to use as a disciplinary tool because it would break.

It's just a bit of tongue-and-cheek humor I guess. Leves and quests in general are full of all kinds of puns, funny anecdotes, and pop-culture references...sometimes you will see multiple ones link together the same "theme" of sorts like this one.
