    Next one to lvl?

    Good afternoon,

I just got my pld to 60 and I'm thinking of getting all the tanks to 60. Which one would you recommend next. Both War and Drk are lvl 50 atm.

Pld has been my main since the beginning but I'm not finding it that fun actually. Almost seems the same thing and such.

    Warrior for sure.

Paladin and Dark Knight are fairly interchangeable in a group, and have very similar feeling skills. The only thing you gain from having both is being a bit more versatile if an encounter is heavily physical/magical.

Warrior feels MUCH different to Paladin and with the new stuff given in 3.0 it has a much more distinct DPS-Tank role.

Agreed with Sapphidia, WAR is going to give you more party setup options. WAR can do all the content well, and brings more benefits to the table than flaws. On top of that it is a more dynamic tank, and mastering it at 60 will only help your skills on the other tank classes.

Thanks. I've been reading lots of the forums and stuff and it does seem like Warrior are very useful endgame and such and having 2 different types of tanks might help

If by "learn fast" you mean to learn through trial-by-fire, then yes. If you want to learn the slower but easier way, start with Gladiator since you'll need its level 22 ability no matter what tank you play, and the simple nature of how Gladiator plays makes it easy to observe and learn how tank mechanics work. Warrior is by far the most active of the three tank jobs and requires the most skill and learning to use efficiently and optimally, but mastery is rewarded generously.

I was a Paladin in 2.0, now a Warrior. I didn't look back. I can take AND give a beating. What's there not to like.

I'll second WAR, if only because it has a rather distinctive playstyle. DRK and PLD feel very similar, whereas WAR got a whole new avenue to explore with Deliverance. I was never much a fan of WAR in ARR, but I've been keeping it a few levels behind my PLD as I level that up, and I'm finding it to be a lot of fun now, especially on bosses.

This is the exact reason why I'm leveling it after PLD. Took a year to level PLD up because of WAR in 2.X
