So, right now, the only healer that can't debuff magical raid/tankbusters is White Mage (but the physical-only virus still gives the 60 second lockout). On top of that, AST and SCH's debuffs stack, they both get an equal strength stoneskin, and so on.

SE, please roll the Supervirus trait into the crossclass skill.

I don't think we need classes to lose more of their unique aspects until another healer job comes and rips them out.

It's not about unique aspects... another healer job already effectively has it (yes, it's shorter duration, but stacks and has no lockout). This is just about bringing WHM a little closer to par (still won't stack with other Virii, but at least it will be better than add fodder).

Haven't you heard? Yoship practically told WHM to get out of the mitigation business. From the super-long cool down E4E, Dollar Store Virus, and a nerfed-Stoneskin at the top. Life in mitigation means depending on another healer or arcanist. Now where have I heard that statement about depending on another healer before?

Sure would be nice to give WHM some meaningful mitigation again though. I'd just rather they give WHM an improved replacement for Stoneskin as a job-only skill in the next expansion and would allows the others to keep Stoneskin cross-class. SuperVirus probably won't happen because they would have to address it on a BLM too. We can dream can we?

Yeah, but since Resurrection is an Arcanist skill I always kind of looked at that as being an equalizer in utility for SMN for not having those defensive cooldowns like BLM does with Apoc and Manawall/ward. I would love to give it to them too, as we SCHs already have to slap them for using Dollar Store Virus in the wrong places. Just that SuperVirus might be too much for their mitigation toolkit.

Rather have a cleric stance trait to either increase accuracy by 10-20% than make supervirus standard, after all that's not a whm buff but a simple virus change and possible arcanist buff since their supervirus trait will be replaced by something else.
