Why keep DF off of new content?

If it was added to DF it literally would not affect you, or your group whatsoever, not a bit. Let people smash their heads against it, why does it bother you what people do with their time? Are you afraid that a Duty Finder party actually beats you and comes out with that shiny loot you worked so hard for or something? If not that, then I don't see any reason that would actually affect you.

What are you talking about? I didn't say I'm against it, I couldn't care less either way. If it was in DF I wouldn't use it, I would still go with my static, so it wouldn't affect me. ie we agree?
Just trying to give a reason of maybe why they don't put it to DF right away.

Also what do you mean a DF party "beats" me?

I really should read over my posts before submitting (still not going to do it even after saying that), but I meant beat your expectations I guess, not the focus of my post regardless. By "you", I'm referring to everyone who is so vehemently against the idea of it going into DF, which it seems like you're not.

The point I was trying to get across was that it doesn't affect anyone who currently raids Savage, it only opens it up to more players. SE themselves may have a reason for restricting it, but I really don't understand those people who are against here, and even that one person who suggested that it shouldn't drop loot, hence the part about the loot in my post. Of course people would be less inclined to do it if there was no loot, not exactly a big revelation. No one but the best of the best really tried to take down Savage Coil, and why? Because a title wasn't enough for most.

I agree with some of your points. But you say it being in DF would open it up to all players, but really it is already open to everyone. You can set up a party in PF and go in? You might be joined with people already in a static who want to practice, but on the other hand some of those might stay away just in case you did down it and then they would lock out their static members from a chest when they came to run it for the week or whatever. You never know, you might meet people that are in the exact same situation and be able to start building your own static if that's something you are looking to do (I haven't read back very far in these comments, dunno if you are or not). This is what happened to me back in SCOB, I had no static so could only run via PF. I did that, and in one group someone said I seemed to know what I was doing and they had a space in their static they were trying to fill.

but in regards to why it isn't in DF, honestly I don't know. I don't think many groups would have success if it were, but it really is anyone's guess why SE haven't made it available this way
