Oh man, that's so true. I've seen it happen a few times where my team goes, "Revenge! Revenge on Adder for the last match!" and all the pug Adders are dying left and right screaming, "Why!?"
While I certainly don't like that my win ratio has dipped more towards 2nd than 1st recently, there is nothing more satisfying than beating a full pre-made alliance with nothing but PUGs. It doesn't happen that often, but it's great when it does.
As far as limiting pre-mades go, I do agree that either harsher penalties for queue drops need to be enforced, or they should just add the ability to queue as an alliance defaultly. Right now, a very limited group of people has a distinct advantage over everyone else, simply because they have the time to waste waiting for new queues, if their entire alliance can't get into the same match. This needs to stop, either by preventing this group from doing this, or by giving the ability to queue with more than 8 people to everyone, with no penalties at all.
Premade teams need to be put into separate queues for proper matchmaking like any other game that uses matchmaking based on solo queuing/teams, such as League of Legends. If you want to play with your friends or a whole 3 alliance queued together in frontlines, then face off against other premade teams or 8 v 8 v 8 premade matches. Seal Rock has turned into a Slaughter mode zerg fest.
I dont think the pvp population is big enough to support that premade mode otherwise they would have added this ages ago already.
Same, I think it will decline quickly as people get their tomes or pvp gear. Until then though there's only so much we can do with pre-mades. Rather than cut them off, try to create solutions that might not be 100% but you can keep them implemented and it would still work even when PvP dies down.
Enable the Mercenary Mode - someone mentioned this in another MMO where PVP was big. This lets people from other GC fight with anyone. So the situation someone mentioned earlier where pre-made or set of friends would withdraw leaving the ones who do get in with little members, should hopefully populate them.
Groups of 8 I would like to see them be put on the top of the 24 man queue. This would help put those members who make full parties fight against others who have full parties.
This doesn't really solve everything 100%, and there will be loop holes.
There is a bit to say about the get better, there are issues with both people who try to lead and those who are just trying to get through and play. I've seen a common guy smurf his way out of peoples hearts and into their black list because he can't be nice to people enough to lead. This leads to people not listening. Also those who just to rouge or chase into a large pile of the opposite team and then yell that they weren't being healed. Then again I've also had people who just sit and roam every minute. A well coordinated random group of individuals has a good chance against pick ups.
Then again there is no solid answer...we will have to wait and see.

IDK, playing against premades is pretty fun, really shows who is good or not. People in premades are not unkillable or unbeatable, just need to get good IMO. Most people have no idea whats going on, and that are the people who are complaining the most.
I don't really find it fun. Yeah they aren't unkillable, and yes they are perfectly beatable; but good luck doing either of those against a team with access to (generally) far easier forms of communication, far less random alliance comps, and confidence in the abilities of each and every player on their team. There is no "getting good" with pugs, you have to play with whatever hand you get dealt. Maybe occasionally you get some really good players and you're able to pull a win with over 15 kills and 200k damage done. Great, you earned that.
Most often though (at least, for Mael), you get paired with people who are just getting their Walk the Line I achievements, don't realize they're even up against a premade 'till its too late, stuck in a party with no healers (or bad healers), with DPS/Tanks who just run in and die left and right, people who don't listen to orders, and you only get to deal 40k damage the whole game because you're getting completely shut out in every single skirmish.
A pug has to play next to perfectly (or the premade has to screw up somehow) in order to pull a win. Good fucking luck with that.
Easiest solution is to just not play with them. If you enjoy it, then well... have fun, is all I can say. I'm tired of getting dealt a shit hand.
Alternatively, make your own premades, but successfully getting everyone into games is entirely dependant on your GC, the only reason it really works for Adders is because of their queues.
Defaulting the timer is the same as declining it so far as the system is concerned, if they use the current deterrent we have to prevent people from trying to cherry-pick In Progress queues.
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
Odd. I really wish I could roll with these premades then because lately every match has been the Maelstrom distracting us while the Flames just walk away with the win. Every single match.
You realize most people play for wins and exp for vanity items, then quit, right?
