Airship progress saved when moving?

Hello everyone, the people of my FC are looking at the possibility of moving once the new housing areas/zones are implemented and are starting to look for ways to get enough gil in preparation.

However, we hit a snag; we need to know if the airship rank is saved if we move or if we have to start all over?

The airship takes a lot of time, money and resources and having it reset would be a deal breaker.

In the same thread it was also determined that you lose all progress when moving FC houses. Sorry. You might want to wait until they implement the house moving feature (hopefully they implement it).

You lose absolutely EVERYTHING from your FC Workshop. That's airships, their levels & experience, everything.

that's specifically why they are adding moving as a new housing feature before new housing zones.

My FC moved into a medium house without warning me or saying anything. I logged in to discover all the hard work and mats I'd put into the airship for the FC was gone. I had to rebuy the workshop and start from scratch on the schematics and the part I had been building. At least they did wait till the airship venture was done and collected the parts. Your airship starts over at rank 1 though

Any word on when or if we are getting a "moving house" feature or function?

My partner and I are preparing for 3.1 (airships) but are also saving for a Mansion for our FC members as we currently have a cottage.

Your guidance would save us many gillies and many tears.

Please let us know if we should look forward to it!

Yes, you should look forward to it but as to when, who knows. The discussion around it was that parts of housing improvements were scheduled for 3.1 but that doesn't mean we will get moving in November. We may get nothing at all if they discover it needs to wait until 3.15 or much later.

they are not saying when, the only when we have now is that 3.1 is Personal House sharing, so expect it not to be in 3.1.
