Random idea(Single furnishing item) Painting.

How about like a big painting for FC houses(or private ones) That instead of showing some boring NPC you could flip through your screenshots and pick a screenshot from your folder that shows like a FC group photo or what ever !

Ofcourse this comes with alot of risks inappropiate photos probably but i think they can make it so you can only upload pictures made by ingame screenshots right?

I would love this so much! It gets so boring seeing the same three small paintings and portraits of famous people (which, isn't that kind of weird...? Oh, Hi, sultana, YOUR PORTRAIT IS IN MY BEDROOM.)

If the screenshot thing is still too risky, just... some more choices for paintings would be really nice. Maybe let us pick from a hundred pre-approved images and stick them in a frame or something. I'd love more landscapes, and maybe like... trees, flowers, still life fruit bowl, animals, abstract art? All the new paintings have been famous people and I feel like I'm making a weird shrine.

Unfortunately screenshots would likely never happen as players would undoubtedly do their utmost to "paint" lala-smut.

More generic wall hangings like tapestries and everyday paintings would be more than welcome though.

This is exactly the reason why there will never be an ability to 'make your own' paintings in the game - it was the same reason that the development team actually stated back during the Beta test why they were not allowing players to add their own artwork to make FC logos as well - because they would have to directly police the upload process as it would be only a matter of time before some idiot would think it to be funny to upload something inappropriate (sexually explicit/harassing/offensive) or against the ToS (read: a logo or image plagiarized from another game/film/TV show etc), it would just be too costly in terms of resources they would have to dedicate to it.

So sadly as much as I would love to be able to make my own paintings for my FC house/personal room (specifically, of my FC/ls friends and family), this will never happen, because of human nature.
