Here's my Endwalker glam!
Sad but true. That's why virtually all my healer glams are non-robed. Here's a few others of mine too!
(the one red mage outfit there works for any job sans the hat/weapon.)

How many men am I involved with? Well that depends... do you mean men as in males? Or just midlanders?

You only needed to scroll up the page to see that isn't true.
In any case I like and expect robes on mages. Complaining about it is like complaining that the tank glamour page has nothing but armour.

Here's what I'm going with into Endwalker~ Also potentially changing into a bunnyboi so probably going to need to find a new hat!

Sorry if the image is too big, I can't really figure out how to spoiler just yet. Anyway here's my WHM outfit.![]()
Mortal Fist

thats not a healer glamour though? thats all class outfit.
you see tanks in all sorts since they have access to the most variety. light and heavy armour, cleric like robes from hw, barbarian style armour, coats, doublets and full length robes
If i'm going to step onto a battlefield, I want to look like I won't get killed by a stray arrow or the first blade to get past my allies. I'm not against robes, but I'm fed up of them since that's all there has been for years on end while other roles got more variety. Until I ditched healing in 5.1 my healers basically had exclusive rights to any armour all class gear since thats all we can get
In addition there's far too much feminine gear for healers but that's known so I'll move on.
There's a total of 4 healer exclusive armour chest pieces and all of them have tons of cloth on them. Bright linen cyclas, deepshadow healer, genji domaru and laws order, the latter of which they half assed and made the cape into another frilly skirt with incorrect shoulder pads, leg and foot armour.
With boots its a bit better; high allagan, daystar, aurum regis, genji, bone wicca, deepshadow and another i forget the name of.
One thing I did note when browsing recently for a glamour in case I pick up sage is how a surprising number of healer glamour pieces is the same model as crafters as though we aren't running around all day casting glare/broil/malefic.
myself and everyone else who are ticked off with nothing but cloth after 10 years (it took till SB to get any chest armour at all!) are frustrated with good reason.

The picture two posts up from yours is the Heirloom tunic (not a robe or coat). A few up from that is the Skallic jacket paired with a skirt, then a "casual" glamour requiring a healer-specific skirt with attached socks. And so on.
And between your first post and this one we've had the Late/High Allagan healer set and the Shisui / WHM relic gear, and the set of casual glamours again with several relying on healer-exclusive pieces.
Tanks get armour, mages get robes. So we do get light robes and heavy robes (say, Star Velvet vs Dravanian), barbarian robes (Woad, Warg), coats, tunics, at least two "tribal" outfits (Prophet, Ravel)... a mixture of styles, shapes and lengths.you see tanks in all sorts since they have access to the most variety. light and heavy armour, cleric like robes from hw, barbarian style armour, coats, doublets and full length robes
If i'm going to step onto a battlefield, I want to look like I won't get killed by a stray arrow or the first blade to get past my allies. I'm not against robes, but I'm fed up of them since that's all there has been for years on end while other roles got more variety.
Also I am struggling to think of what you mean by "cleric-like robes" for tank.
And "the current options lack armour" (a specific aesthetic you are looking for) is an entirely different argument to "all current options look the same" which is provably false.
I'm not sure what "surprising number" you're thinking of.
From what I can see, there is:
- Plague Doctor repurposed much later as Facet crafting set – though in the same expansion also for the Lakeland aiming set
- the Alliance mage coats which were later repurposed for the Facet gathering set
- the Nabaath healing set being based on crafting gear, but that was the theme for all gearsets in that dungeon (and at least we got the cool Ironworks gathering cap out of it)
- the Nomad sets where all roles got variants of the same Xaela robes. Crafters use the same specific robe and hand jewellery as healers, but so do striking classes.
- the dwarven sets in Shadowbringers that again used the same couple of designs for all classes.
A small number and usually when everyone is getting shared sets.
In any case, gathering-style gear (with enough magical protection woven into it) would be perfectly fine for running around in, so I'm not seeing where the issue is.
I don't usually heal anymore, but when I do...

Rocking this look, and will probably keep it for Endwalker... at least for a little while.
In case anyone cares:
Head - Neo-Ishgardian Cap of Healing (Pure White)
Chest - Alexandrian Jacket of Healing (Pure White)
Hands - Gliderskin Gloves of Healing
Legs - Makai Sun Guide's Slops (Though I guess any black pants work)
Feet - Replica High Allagan Boots of Healing (Metallic Silver)
