I always thought the line wasThe song was written under Tanaka-san before V1's release, and Yoshida-san decided on Bahamut as vehicle for the drastic changes to the world in V2. Bahamut is not invoked in Answers at all, though the core theme of the song can be applied to him.
Alright, alright, I went back for it, already, jeez.
"SETUP to BREACH to RESET" or something :/
Yes, the original intent of the song seems to have been to describe the cycles Hydaelyn goes through as a whole, and while Her children may face hardships, the adversity will also often help make them stronger and lead the way to a better day for those to come. Yoshida and the lore team (who survived the shake-up from 1.0) simply decided to apply it to Bahamut, since he's sort of a microcosm of what the song is talking about. And since he became such a big symbol of the ARR change, the song was ultimately associated more with him than anyone else.
Always remember, please be careful.
So who is the localization lead of FFXV? I need to know how to get my voice that low..
What, you can't sing in basso profoundo?
HIGH, ON HIGH, I STAND...
(Seriously though I don't blame him for being embarrassed and reluctant. I'd like to get into voice acting, but I'm really nervous and don't think I have a good voice... and can't find any local singing or acting teachers... and have no experience... but well, I'm going really off topic here...)
Fun Fact! Except for Susan Calloway singing the main themes, most of the vocal tracks in the game seem to be sung by SE employees and developers.

While a lot of people started deciphering Dragonsong and picking up cool info from it since it was shown, Answers was always enigmatic at least for me. It's an amazingly powerful song, and yeah the multiple points of view are clear. But I've been wondering what does that mean? If I'm not mistaken the song was made before the fall of Dalamud decision being made and since it's the song used on ARR intro and T13 battle. Most people tie this song with Bahamut while I always tought it was something else, maybe related to Ascians.
It's cool to finally get the real meaning behind the lyrics. Sounds pretty generic, but the song is still my favorite and you can now understand the reason why the multiple voices collide almost everytime during the song. And it is like you said, the main theme fits with Bahamut. Maybe because the song theme also fits with the Unbral and Astral cycle and Bahamut was there causing the calamity so the memory of suffering are on people's minds.
Ravana song in Dravanian and Gnath? Oooh I wanna see it.
Thanks for the info as always Moose.

If you really think about it Answers is about the cycle of Life, Death and Rebirth. We are born and live...we grow old and know, and then we pass on. They are speaking also about the Astral and Umbral eras. The Sins of the Past are the foolish things that the nations that have come before everyone else have caused, and that we need to take these lessons in the past and use them to not repeat them. "Look to those who walked before to lead those who walk after."
Which worked out nicely with Louisoux sending the Warriors of Light into the future. If you really think about it Answers is about the cycle of Life, Death and Rebirth.
