Sch fairy is adorable
whm is a classic from every final fantasy game. How can you not like that.
ast is just shiny. Oh so shiny.
i like playing all 3 interchangeably depending on what ever mood im in.

There's been way too much competing on who does what better lately. We need to bring back some love.

I play both SCH and AST and enjoy both. I've never been much of a fan of WHM as I suppose I'm just mitigation oriented, but it has its strengths as well..

WHM - for when I just want to heal, easy peasy, not overtly complicated, feels good to be able to heal BIG BIG
SCH - for when I want to micro manage crap, stance dance, and have more crap spells to cast, but always fun and exciting. Having a pet that heals me first in the case of "oh shit moment" - priceless!!
AST - for when I want some "excitement" but not too exciting like SCH, something in between, less vanilla, more illusion of "my cards make a difference!".

Now I have all three flavors of healing style!! Thanks SE!! Next on forecast, Puppetmaster become the new healer! It's the "SCH on crack" version of a healer, with some limitations, to encourage all those melee DPS to switch and play healer jobs.

I don't think this is an illusion... ^^ From what ASTs I've played with, all of the cards thrown out seem to have helped my party clear faster. Speaking from pre-endgame content, though, so they might actually not.

I love all three healers and I feel they have totally different identities

WHM - Those big heals, Holy is a mitigation tool as well as DPS, same can be said for Assize but it heals rather than mitigates, has really good threat and mana management, also aesthetically speaking, WHM has really nice animations xD The female weapon idle pose is so lovely and maternal, my fem roe has most of her pics doing it, cos its like so beautiful xD And I love all the staff twirls with divine seal and its other OGCD's

SCH - Originally hated this job but now I feel good at it, puts out some really good dps, has more tactical options than WHM but at the cost of resource managment (aetherflow), I kinda suck at shield healing myself but the fairy is so cute and I really really like the AOE esuna in stuff like pvp

AST - Is my new favourite, I feel like Im actively contributing to the group more, and the fact our animations look nice is a mega plus point for me (I base everything on looks really >.<) The whole extending buffs and such feels really tactical to me, I feel like I'm always clicking a button and doing something, which is why I also play MNK >.< It's also the closest job to being a pure support archetype that this game really lacks, I always love the support staff!

I have all of the healers at i190+, so I'm really glad to have experienced all of their stories 1-60/30-60 and know that I can do any current content on either of them (somewhat) confidently.

WHM - My main class. I have been playing WHM since 2.1 and the skills added in Heavensward have made this class feel even more fluid for me. Assize is the best and I will use it always. I have never felt more comfortable or confident on this class and I wouldn't change that for anything in the world.

AST - A close second in my heart, I really love to play you in PvP. No one can catch me while I'm Sprinting away and using Lightspeeded (Lightspeeded is now a word) heals on myself. The cards are really fun, though I do believe Shuffle needs to have a talking to about... "repeating" themselves.

SCH - Welp, SCH. We have went from 30-60 together and I still have no freaken idea how to play you as well as my FC leader or static SCH. But that's okay, because now we can Dissipate Eos when she doesn't Whispering Dawn despite pushing the button 84 times in a row. Literally bliss. I also love that I can take you into sub level 30 content and pretend I'm a SMN without the long queue time. Bless you for that.

Oh they actually do ^^

I was in A1S yesterday with my FC just for fun (we have an average iLVL of 185 xD so nothing to take seriously)
First try on Faust, we've beat him down to 15% (I soloheal while the WHM makes damage until 5th stack, with some arrows on Ninjas or Bowle on Tank)
then the 2nd try, I had an AOE Balance at the start and trew one more after.
We beat him down to 4%!!!!! (sure...that was not all about the Balances xD but it surely helped a lot!)


and ohhh yes!!!! Puppetmaster *____*
