Thread: any post 3.0 relic news?

i'm just looking for some info on post 3.0 relic quests (the 'new' relic quests) ?

sorry if it's been asked before - i did use search - yes i'm relatively new to the forum.

thanks in advance and could any info given please be sourced?

It is usually SE's policy to keep these things secret to avoid crashing the market. For instance, if people found out just a day before the patch that Mythril Ingots will be required for the relic, they will be hoarded immediately and resold for insane margins once the patch drops.

So no, we don't know anything other than, "New Relic weapon in 3.1. Please look forward to it."

My guess is it will be similar to how we got our Relic in 2.0 and future patches.

god, if there's an actual QUEST this time instead of what we got... I loved the 2.0 relic quest, but everything after was so... /meh/.

Give us some good old fights just like how titan became the initial gatekeeper for a lot of people. It was so much fun getting to learn the fights with others.

I'm personally hoping the new relic process won't be exactly the same as the old one.

It's easy to see there will be grinding of some kind involved. There is no reason to assume any of it will be difficult. However, I do expect it to be *expensive* and *time consuming* grind.

I put some thought into what kind of bonus that you get for having the old zeta relics. They said you would get some kind of "bonus" for having it. I'm just guessing but like if you have the zeta, then you can maybe skip the "base" step of the old relic where you have to find a weapon to "host" the new one? This is a wild guess. It could also be that the new host would be the current esoteric weapons but that is wishful thinking as I'd imagine they wouldn't ever gate the relic steps where you could do nothing for 3 weeks until you get a base item. Maybe you can get several different weapons as options for the base for the relic (Such as, old zeta, 3 weeks of esoteric tome turn in for antiquated, and third option might be some crafted *SUPER* expensive something or other).

Just speculation... I can't wait for some info either... I like those pictures mentioned! It looks kinda steampunk-ish.

I agree. Doing Titan HM during launch with my few friends and random folk was fun! Sure, we didn't know anything about the fight back then cause the game just came out, but it was exciting to win.

I would love more of that. I'm not sure how that would work today though. It seems all the new stuff is either super easy or like a brick wall for some (probably cause they expect it to be also super easy).

Before all the nerfs some of the job and MSQ were a tad challenging but that is all gone now.

Prepare for relics to touch 3.0 crafting ( which is a mess atm)

Whatever they do, and regardless of how many steps there, I hope they add in Titan HM just for nostalgia
