    crafting soooo boring

    Crafting so boring now. I use to have more fun with 2.0 crafting please return back to its rootz I hate how crafting system is. U need to gather just to craft no one on my server made 180 armour and whem they do it will cost 10000000000000000

    Please rework this sytem you took out half the fun put of the game and with no response it just make it worse. You could atleast let people know if something will be done especially since we are paying customers who put in hours and dedication to crafting

    As much as I agree with the general sentiment, did this really need to be another new thread?

    We got a community response about two weeks ago saying they were looking into adjustments (with the implication that they might make the favor grind less of a time sink.) Nothing past that officially.

    There only fixing favours and there under DOTL. Crafting does need serious repair!

    The issue with crafting is the general lack of materials available. Adjusting the Favor system will increase the materials available. Its not the fix I'd like to see, but its the one they've stated they are going to make.

    The RCT and RGT are the speed limit minimizing the number of materials available. That is not a coincidence, it is by design, however much we may rail against it. You are limited to 9 processed materials per week, assuming you can gather the hand ins to make those combines on just 9 sets of 5 Favors. While increasing the materials available from Favors will not affect that 9 RCT speed limit, it will at least make it easier to run into that speed limit.

    fixing dotl favors is the solution for crafter too, I cant see your problem

    Pretty much. The bottleneck for me is the favor grind, which means that I actually get more red crafter and gatherer tokens than I can even handle. Adjustments to the favor system wouldn't affect my upper limit on scrip materials, but it'd be great if I could at least use all of my tokens.

    I agree. Even independent of the whole red scrip boondoggle, I enjoyed the 2.0 crafting system more. If I put in the effort to max all my crafters and all my gear, I don't want to still be at the mercy of RNG.

    For me HW crafting seems to be more boring or maybe frustrating than arr since it takes more components to make an item. The drop rates for mats like skins, deepeye tears, etc. is very low. My DOM retainer stays very busy gathering this stuff for me. A lot of essential items needed is gated behind timed gathering nodes.
    Why does it take 3 skins now to make 1 leather? Why does it take 2 holy/hallowed waters instead of 1. Why does it take 5 logs or 3 to 5 ore or raw stones to make an item? I won't even get into the whole red scrip/favor debacle. As far as RNG is concerned, it appears to be the very foundation of everything in the game, I doubt this will ever change, but sometimes it wears my patience quite thin.

    I kinda don't have ambition like at 2.0 , because the material to craft is really horribly depend on unspoiled node (and the equip is a friggin' copypasta... really?), and that makes me only level it by GC's supply mission :|
