I think it would be pretty awesome to have a Dungeon take place inside and outside of a moving Clockwork Doom Train. But those PS3 limitations....
It doesn't matter much to me, but given the way things are going in FFXIV (with Magitek and all), I kinda suspect that the design will be similar to the original (but not exactly the same).

Dancer is a physical hybrid melee/range class, not a true ranged class. I love it.

I'd love it having the FF8 design, looks like it comes from a metal album cover and it's absolutely delicious.
I'm genuinely curious how they will incorporate this primal into the lore.
Who will summon a train?

Could be something like Alexander. A primal summoned into an old train which then started to animate like it's a living being.

It'll probably be a minion drop in the new 24-man raid. They bothered to put, "Clockwork" in the name which tells me it probably won't be a primal, otherwise they would have just called it Doomtrain. At least that's my theory.
The "Phantom Train" has already been mentioned in this game during the whole "escape from castrum centri" questline. Yda mentions how it is the way they sneaked into the place.
Whether or not this has to do with a doomtrain later on idk, but it's worth mentioning.

Yeah, all the castrums in Eorzea are connected by trains called Phantom Trains. You can see some of the tracks at the Mor Dhona/North Thanalan border.
Maybe doom train will be a Garlean train we have to stop or something. I'm really just interested in how they will implement it into the storyline.
