    strictly speaking, if there's a casting bar to most of their actions they are a caster. if knockbacks and movements make them lose most of their actions they are a caster.

    i guess the real test is, what happens when a BRD gets silenced, can they still use what you call "skills" under Wanderer's Minuet.

    I think for sanity we (as in the average player) use the term caster to refer to non-physical damaged based damage dealers whose abilities require a cast time, so in that sense BRD and MCH as ranged dps but not referred to as "casters" on most occasions
