Of course they can make a workable tank kit and call it Red Mage. Of course DRK still has some identity, thats why I said worse, not as bad. And of course this isn't 11, Dark Knight and Red Mage were in a lot more FF games than that.

This whole making sense thing really doesn't. 2/3rd's of Red Mage is damage, the rest is healing. They will always make more sense as a DPS for that reason alone.
