Ul'Dah wards not functioning properly

Hi SE,

Besaid Server, Ul'Dah wards.

I can't get my retainer to properly stay in the ward i leave him in. None of the items I leave for sale will show up on the Item Search screen longer than an hour or two. If I bring up the 'summon retainer' screen, it shows the retainer as being in the ward - but I can't find him by walking around as usual.

If I re-summon my retainer, and put a new item up for sale, all my items will show up on the item search screen, but then go away again later.

Please assist!

Markets are a little cranky right now. There was a reboot of the ul'dah wards on bodhum yesterday and a bit later they crashed with my girlfriend stuck inside lol

Yah, I've heard various stories of wards crashing with people in them, and it happened to me a few times too.

There was a post on Lodestone discussing this issue. SE is aware of it and will be trying to fix it. The suggestion by SE was to not use those wards currently. I LOL'd at this because I thought to myself, "They do realize no one will listen to this? You know, the ONE place everybody comes to sell/buy gear!" lol SO yeah; if I can find the link I will repost it.

I saw it listed on the 'known issues' page, but it was a more generalized version of the problem, discussing crashes.

I'm sort of stymied, in that I have a lot of goods to sell, but can't sell them, so I can't earn the money I need to buy other people's new goods. I might actually have to go out in the field to Earn Money! I haven't done that specifically in months...

LOL or you can just do some leves and get gil. xD At your level you should be raking in cash. Try some of the other cities since Grid and LL, at least on Figaro server, are filled with people. I haven't seen it so busy since OB/Early release lol

Yah, I'm trying to save my leve allowances for actually leveling up some of my subjobs right now.

Money is no big deal, I can easily go gather or kill and get 50k an hour, it's just... I'm not used to actually working for it. I accumulated so much during the course of regular play, that I never really thought about it; but now, I'm all tied up in gear that I can't sell, lol.

No big deal, it'll settle itself out in a few days. In the meantime, I have a Cobalt Winglet for sale on Besaid if anyone wants it.... cheap...
