90ks, 10105, 2002, and lag...

I see that there is a SICK OF THE LAG FEST and HUGE CONNECTION PROBLEMS in the CURRENTLY BEING REVIEWED AND BEING ADDRESSED area. But, I am failing to see any devs or any updated info about it. So, I am posting this here. Where are the updates?

If other people are getting so much lag, then there is a huge problem with the servers. And people also gets DC'ed. I have been getting nothing but lag this week, and just today I got huge amounts of 90ks, 10105 error, and 2002 errors. WHERE ARE THE UPDATEs about this being fixed and worked on?

And I do not...NOT want to hear anyone telling me that it is MY fault for these things...when obviously there IS an issue on the server's side. If it was my fault, then I wouldn't hear everyone else complain about the same shit I go through.

Those threads I mentioned has gotten so much pages, and no devs are giving us updates on this situation. All I am asking and requesting is a dev to give us an update on this bs.

I just want to play this game without this stupid hassle!

Over the last 2 days (today especially) I'm getting a CONSTANT stream of 90k's, I can't stay logged in for more than an hour without getting booted. It seems to be more frequent in instance servers (duty's/pvp etc) though it's occasionally happening while I'm idling around.

I also don't believe it's related to my connection because I'm successfully streaming and continuing on with my other online activities with no issues whatsoever; it's literally just my connection to FFXIV that is having a problem. It's incredibly irritating.

Same with me. My internet is perfect and I have no issues and have not have ANY issues at all until this Tuesday, where I keep getting 90002's then no lobby until I restart. Somtimes I can go the rest of the day without an error, and they haven't been happing a TON, but they are happening.

I've been having a similar problem all week. I can get to the game's title screen, but when I click "Start" or "Data Centre", I see the "connecting to data centre" for a minute or two before I get the error message: "the lobby server has encountered an error" and the number "2002".

Oddly, Steam hasn't been accessible this week either, which makes me think that it might be something at my end, but since I'm using the same setup I've used since I started the game when ARR was released, I doubt it.

Otherwise, everything on my computer works perfectly: general web browsing, Skype, TeamSpeak, e-mail, and any other game or program I have installed. It's frustrating, but I have no idea how to fix it.

Is it too much to ask just to be able to play the game I've subscribed to, and have played with no problem for years now?

It is still persisting. I am trying to do my roulettes, but I keep getting 90k'ed! And as expected, not one Dev gives a damn about giving us any updates. lol I find that quite selfishly unreasonable. ; ;

Yep, that's the problem I'm having too Mark. I've checked my firewall, and the game is allowed through, so that isn't the problem.

A friend who lives close by, and uses the same ISP isn't having any problems, but suggested that for some reason, the ports that the game uses might have been blocked somehow. So I'm tempted to look into port forwarding and see if that fixes it, because I don't have any other ideas beyond unsubscribing and leaving the game, which I'd prefer not to do, as the game is a lot of fun when I play.

Someone says that changing their network card stopped it. Something in the last few patches doesn't like particular network cards maybe? (I am having the same problem, and I would rather not go out and buy another network card just for FF14. It might not even help.)

I had previously post in the mentioned threads but have seen no response so am going to repost here what I said there.

I have had an issue for some time where I will randomly disconnect from the game; this can be in a dungeon, on a loading screen, in a raid or in the over world.

I am now able to confirm two error codes which I wan't before (tbh because I wasn't looking for them) 90002 and 10105.

Really hope to see a Dev response to this and a fix to the game as this makes some parts of the game unplayable for me.
