Yeah, I have to vend it. I look at prices on the wards and see 17 stacks for less the what the NPC pays for it.....Guess what, the NPC just became the highest bidder.

Hello ^^. Not a fan of alumen I assume? Haha. Kida and Thal made great suggestions. Just look for the items that you want to acquire in the patch notes and then look up their respective sweet spots on DoL.com. One positive to mining alumen is that it's always in the same spot and can be "dug up" with one strike which makes for faster leveling. Hope this helps!

People are going to end up vendoring their alumen because their retainers can only hold so many items. We need our market sell limit increased if you want to see these items for sale more often.

I know for a fact that you dont get alumen from camp bloodshore area.

Alumen is good though! I never have enough of them! ^^
But if you get too much alumen, just stay away from exposed ore -1. Cobalt ore is -3, Mythril ore +3 and electrum ore +4 so you might never want to stay near the -1.

In clearing out some inventory, I sold my alumen (of which I had a couple of full stacks). I NPC'd a lot of stuff I judged had no chance in the Merchant Wards, but, looking at the current sellers and sale history for the alumen, I went with a sell price of 140, which is almost twice what the NPC will give you. I sold out in about a day. This was on Trabia. You won't get rich on that, but it was nice chunk of change for stuff that was just cluttering up my inventory.
