Did some FATEs in the hinterlands earlier in the day which progressed fast and was well worth it for the amount of exp we were getting.

Same FATEs later in the day going 5 times slower to the point we failed to beat some in the time limit and the party disbanded because it was not worth doing.

It's the ongoing problem of FATE difficulty being adjusted to the number of players who were there in the past, not the players who are there right now.

Could be helpful for the difficulty modifier to be displayed instead of being a hidden value, then we can tell at a glance if the bears and dodos have more HP than Ultima weapon and save time by not trying.
