Moogle cap/pre-purchase codes?

According to some posts I found from a few years back, people who pre-purchased Final Fantasy XIV (1.0) were getting codes for Moogle caps?

If this is the case, does anyone know how I can get this code? I pre-purchased Final Fantasy XIV CE (I distinctly remember playing in early access) but I never got any codes for pre-purchasing.

I've spoken to Mog station support, but they aren't sure either.

I read that 1.0 players who pre-purchased were able to get the cap as well, but I'm not sure if they were just assuming that (but it appears from what they wrote that they received the item).

The Moogle cap and cait sith minion were from a code for preordering ARR (2.0) not 1.0. They are no longer available.

As Kairobot mentioned, the Moogle Cap and Cait Sith Doll minion was a special bonus voucher that was gained preordering ARR before it launched (it also allowed 'Early Access' a few days before the game actually went live). These were completely separate to the bonuses gained with the Collector's Edition of ARR, which were gained automatically if you were a 1.0 player and had registered a copy of the version 1.0 CE. To get the voucher you had to preorder a copy of the game, regardless if it was a standard or Collector's Edition, or if you were a 1.0 player or not (you could use the voucher with an existing 1.0 account however).

Sadly though, although it might be possible to find a voucher with the code (I know following the launch of ARR my local EB Games store was literally giving the codes away as they still had plenty of vouchers in stock), I'm not sure if the code is still redeemable this long since ARR's launch, as I know some bonus item vouchers have a strict time limit you can redeem them before they become invalid. Most likely they would not I'm sorry.
