No button response what so ever when starting game.

Steps:
1.I begin by turning on my PS3 and selecting the game.
2.The launcher starts up and I'm allowed to input my ID and pass word and press launch.
3.The game starts and when it gets to the screen where you need to press "Start" to begin the game every single one of the buttons on my control no longer work when they were just working on the launcher.
4.I have completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled it to my PS3 that has not helped.
5.I called the SE support team and they told me that it is not a problem they can fix as I'm allowed to get through the launcher and not start the game itself so it's a bug with the game and I have to post it here.
6.I post about it here.....

Does the ps3 have the toggle for keyboard/mouse control like the PC version? Might need to check the config options before launching the game (at the start screen).

Alternatively you can use keyboard/mouse if they are connected (or put the controller in mouse mode).
