    Red Scrip > Stupendemys

Please increase the bite rate of this fish as it stands now I would currently have to burn through around 50-70 giant crane fly baits+rudderfish mooches per stumpendemy bite, even if pull it in at 560 gathering/440ish perception it is very often not meeting the collection requirement and very rare to get a bite during patience.

I do not know if it is the same for everyone else but for measly 18 scrip roughly when only roughly 2-3% chance to straight bite one and mere 10% rough chance even when mooching a HQ rudderfish...going through all that and burning through all those baits does not seem worthwhile fishing for this one.

For a fish that doesn't have weather/time requirements, I don't see the problem. Stupendemys and Capelin are avoided by, I dare say, 99% of the fishers when red scrip farming. Tiny axo and thunder eels are stress free, and on avg 6 per window.

SO, why would you rely on Stupendemys for red scrips?

I don't rely on them, I pointed out why I don't farm them anymore.

I want them to actually be worth farming though hence the thread.

This statement wouldn't set off an alarm that some design flaw may exist?

Complain first think later, yeah? So where is the solution/idea to better this hassle of a problem?

    It's not a design flaw.

Right now there is only 3,1 star, fish out of 11 and 2 out of 9 lvl 60 fish that's in the weekly rotation. That is only 5/20 fish used, does things make more sense now?

It's in the very first sentence of the opening post.

Furthermore leaving ideas for how to fix a given problem is not a requirement for constructive feedback. The OP doesn't like how something works, they explained why, nothing more is necessary.

The very first sentence of the opening post sounds very much like a personal complaint/hassle.

When someone comments how they can't catch fish even with high gathering/perc stats, they lose a lot of credibility. Some fish require a certain gathering to catch. Once that gathering is met, having higher gathering is meaningless. But of course. we all know that. right?

If storm chasers were red scrips people will be complaining that's too easy.

I am not saying should be as easy as storm chasers but raising the bite rate from 2-3% to 10% from straight catch and from 10% to 20% from mooch would not be an unreasonable request for example. As you claimed 99% of people are not even bothering with it then that is a problem that should be addressed else there is no point in having it part of the scrip rotation.

This indicates a problem. If this many people are avoiding it, then it means that the fish's value compared to the effort is WAY out of sync. Either the fish needs to be easier to catch, or it needs to provide more scrips on turn-in to balance the low catch rate.

As it stands, its presence in the scrip roulette is a big "screw you" to fishers. So sorry, the Bad Fish turned up today. Hope you weren't planning on getting any scrips today!

Any mechanic that encourages fishers NOT to fish, isn't working properly.

I quit fishing for scrips entirely because it's such a pain in the tuckus.and since I don't have any other gatherers, I'm never going to get my cute red scrip fisher gear.
