Change Player Commendations

I always found it odd that at the end of any given roulette or trip through the duty finder I was only given the option to give a single commendation. Players tend to give them to either the healer or tank partly because of this limit.
What I would suggest would be to allow everyone the chance to commend as many players as they want to, and for a small bonus to be applied as reward based on how many were received. The reason for this would be to recognize the effort of everyone in the party and to encourage civil behavior.

Eh, I get more of them on MNK/MCH then I do on my DRK/WAR. Half the time people just randomly hand them out, they're pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things minus the achievement. Though...maybe I'm a horrible tank...

My BLM got a lots of commendations. And actually most of the time they give commendation for the weekly exp bonus, so if you leave the last you will probably get commendation as you will be the only who can get them.

The etiquette I was told early on is that healer tips tank, tank tips healer, and DPS tip each other. That way everybody gets a commendation. I only make an exception if someone did a particular heroic save of a failed fight - or if someone is doing a terrible job and we probably ought to have kicked them.

I don't think you should be able to commend everyone, but it would be nice to be able to give out 2 in 8 man duties

I give comms to dps if they are good....Or hand them to another MNK player. But, it would be nice to give them to everyone if the did a good job. :3

I give commendation to dps when they do good dps ing and buff like mantra or goad.

It feels like no one gives out commendations anymore. 90% of the time, the other players leave before I even have a chance to dole one out. I don't really understand it. :/

You already get in game rewards for reaching certain milestones in commendations received. To add even more may lead to people begging/fishing for commendations that's gonna be annoying as gil sellers. People DO give commendations to DPS. It has happened.

I suffer heavily from this. Sometimes I want to commend that wonderful DPS who dodged things, made use of his utilities and didnt get aggro for nothing, but I can't because the tank was great too and I think his job is harder.
