Does he say the same to everyone or is that a nod to Legacy players?

I'm not a legacy player and I'm pretty sure he doesn't mention "before the calamity" to my character. I can't remember what exactly he says, but it's more or less that he'd just been dying to meet me for some time lol.

From me a "Thank You" too At first I was frustated that I must do a stupid Fate again but after I entered the "Developers Room" my Moonkeeper was surprised to meet Foxclon, Soken & Co. But that "shock moment" when the Yoshi-NPC said "Welcome Warrior of Light" to me, I cried, it was one of these moments like Haurchefants dead which made me emotionally.



It was a great and really special Event that I wouldnt forget and Im going to meet the Team again the next days before the Developers Room will be closed (and will be open again maybe for next year )

Something funny I just noticed watching it again.

There are TWELVE Dev's on the 18th floor.

"The Twelve are the pantheon of Eorzea in Final Fantasy XIV, consisting of twelve benevolent deities who ruled the continent and its surrounding islands until the arrival of the wandering tribes. During character creation, players must align to one of the twelve deities, which slightly affects elemental resistances. "

I was truly touched when I finished the Rising event.

This years Rising event nearly brought my tear to my eye, especially when it was mentioned how Eorzea has been going for five years. The way each dev personally thanked us, the players, for our support is above and beyond. So for fun I did a different pose next to each dev in this lovely album. Enjoy fellow ffxiver's ^__^

Like many others, this event really touched me. The devs did something wonderful for their players, and I'm honoured to be a part of your community and world that you've made for us. Thank you for the event, and thank you for giving us this game!

...also, I was disappointed that Yoshi-P didn't give us a hug, but I can go back in and give him a hug. That's close enough.
