I laughed when I saw Nobuaki Komoto sitting at a desk surrounded by alcohol lol.
Also Kazutoyo says "Sandkat, it's you! I'd been hoping to meet you since before the Calamity."
Does he say the same to everyone or is that a nod to Legacy players?
Love the Art in Yoshi's room.

I'm not a legacy player and I'm pretty sure he doesn't mention "before the calamity" to my character. I can't remember what exactly he says, but it's more or less that he'd just been dying to meet me for some time lol.I laughed when I saw Nobuaki Komoto sitting at a desk surrounded by alcohol lol.

This thread really isn't getting enough love.

I really appreciate the gesture that the dev team put into this event. I know I may never be able to properly meet and thank Yoshi-P or anyone else in person, for a game that I have grown to love so much, but this event was a good alternative. I also couldn't stop giggling over the 4th wall thing and all the juicy clues that could possibly hint future content from every person in the Eighteenth Floor said, even the ones that just have text bubbles pop up.
From me a "Thank You" tooAt first I was frustated that I must do a stupid Fate again but after I entered the "Developers Room" my Moonkeeper was surprised to meet Foxclon, Soken & Co. But that "shock moment" when the Yoshi-NPC said "Welcome Warrior of Light" to me, I cried, it was one of these moments like Haurchefants dead which made me emotionally.
It was a great and really special Event that I wouldnt forget and Im going to meet the Team again the next days before the Developers Room will be closed (and will be open again maybe for next year)
"Happy Birthday Everyone"![]()

Something funny I just noticed watching it again.
There are TWELVE Dev's on the 18th floor.
"The Twelve are the pantheon of Eorzea in Final Fantasy XIV, consisting of twelve benevolent deities who ruled the continent and its surrounding islands until the arrival of the wandering tribes. During character creation, players must align to one of the twelve deities, which slightly affects elemental resistances. "
Which one of these guys is Oschon?

FFXIV has so meowch passion poured into it and it shows!
Last year's event was the meowst ameowzing thing ever, I've never seen a dev team do so meowch above and beyond the requirements to run a good game.
Thank nyew so meowch, FFXIV Team, Japan US and Europe \'w'/

I wish to convey my gratitude as well. I've been playing MMOs since FFXI's release and have never been moved to tears in-game. A GIANT thanks to Yoshi and the team. An incredible event and gesture of love, passion and thanks. It was truly felt. AMAZING. I wish I can personally thank each member of the team.

I feel like they missed out by not putting their actual voices in. It doesn't matter if it's only Japanese, just hearing them talk to you would be just great. Sound and communication is a powerful thing. Maybe next time?
