The problem isnt so much about rapid synth its about failing those hasty touches lol.
I had something like this for the quality section but 7 of my hasty touches failed lol.

Below is my older Rapid rotation. NOTE it is listed here for archive purposes. While my Rapid rotation is still valid and can be used if you want something easy to execution the MaMa Careful Synth rotation in the post above is roughly 15-25% more efficient. Anyway, the rapid rotation listed here builds strong quality, has 10 hasty opportunities, and requires ZERO ToTs (I have enough CP to use precise touch TWICE in this rotation). This requires very few dynamic choices and is dead simple to execute. The highest risk is failing rapid synth three times (out of the four attempt you have to properly complete your two required rapids). The odds of this occurring are very low. Outside of this you need 1378 base quality to reach 100% (if you get 11 stacks) and 2516 base quality to reach 100% (if you get 10 stacks). Let me know if you have questions.

Craftsmanship 718
Control 695+
CP 419 (All Hasty Touches) CP 437 (one Precise Touch) CP 455 (two precise Touches)

Crossclass skills required:
Comfort Zone (ALC 50), Steady Hand II (CUL 37), Muscle Memory (CUL 54), Careful Synthesis II (WVR 50), Rapid Synthesis (ARM 15), Hasty Touch (CUL 15), and Ingenuity II (BSM 50)

Special note about consuming Good/Excellent/ToT:
You do not want to use ToT during SHII or Ingenuity II. You may consume 1-2 Good/Excellent with precise touch depending on your CP. If you get a ToT outside SHII during you first Comfort Zone you will also recover 8 CP from your last tic of Comfort Zone (which is otherwise clipped). This gives you and additional 28 CP in your rotation. This makes the optimal CP with food 463, so if you get a ToT during your first CZ you will then be able to substitute four precise/basic touches for hasty touches!

that is why we should use Maker's mark and flawless synth ; and fish for good/excellents to precise touch
