I used the rotation for the first time and was able to get 100% HQ on the weaver robe! I was so excited and proud to make it.

However, the next day RNG shit all over me. I was on my carpenter trying to make the HQ Astral Birch rings. I made my first HQ. Then the fun ended. I missed one of the flawless synths on the next ring and apparently that was enough to blow up my 100% HQ second ring.

Then tried a third ring and got it to like 78% HQ and of course the final item ended up being NQ. I was pretty upset.

Yeah nasty RNG is zero fun. Just the other week I was making a hammer for someone and I failed 6 hastes... I workedthe rotation as hard as I could but still NQed at 85%... I then proceeded to NQ ANOTHER because I miscounted 1 freaking CP. Big crafting tip... when you screw up something expensive, take some time before attempting again. I rushed and flubbed like a dodo bird... don't be a dodo bird lol.

Anyway, no matter how good your rotation is, how well you prepare, or how experience you are... shit can and will happen =-)

I don't want to read all 230+ posts in thread to check but has anyone actually come up with a specialist version of 2* crafting that is comparable or better than non-specialist variations. I tried making some rotations using the lokyst site mentioned above but it is glitchy/unreliable in my opinion when using specialist skills in it.

The first time I used it to make my first bunch of Astral silks, I screwed up two. One because I lost my place in the rotation and the other because my food had fallen off and I didn't realize until I was halfway through. Luckily, they didn't blow up, but they both ended up being NQ.

I realized that my 100% HQ ring that ended up blowing up because it was the tiniest bit short on progress was due to my carpenter having lower stats and I remembered that I took a TOT in addition to failing one of the Flawless synths. So, apparently I just need to meld more on my carpenter before trying to make the bracelets and neck.

It is an amazing rotation though.

Last night I made the HQ Aurum Regis earrings and the weaver hat with no issues and ended up at 100% quality on both.

I have but I never fully refined and documented it in this thread. There are details buried in some eon's old thread. The primary issue for me is that specialist rotations take more time to achieve the same result. Honestly I've gotten to a point where I often use my short muscle memory macro over this one to save time (though it requires more HQ ingredients to achieve similar success).
