    and the first one he uses to illustrate is Ox, and why it can be used as an effective defensive stance.

    Not that I dont think the stance could look better, but seeing it here explained as a viable historic stance used with the weapon, with a defensive mindset, made me appreciate it more ingame.
    Yes, except you don't STAY in that stance for long. You go into it then immediately leave it to parry an attack. You don't "SIT" in it.

    Regula Van Hydrus USES THE STANCE properly. At the end of an attack he uses it, parrys your attack then counter attacks.

    He goes into it after using an attack, then goes to holding the stance like you see.

    YOU DO NOT STAY IN THE STANCE FOR LONG! =D

    He explains: If you just stayed in the stance it would be bad for you.

    It isn't a stance you just sit in like you do in game.
